AD code registration: An authorized dealer (AD) is a company or entity that has official permission to sell the product of another company. All authorized dealers are required to get an AD code after getting registered for import and export of foreign goods.  

For AD code/PORT Registration, the following documents are required: 

• PAN Card of Individual Company. 
• IEC Copy. 
• Copy of GST Registration. 

• Aadhar Card Copy of Proprietor (Or) Copy of Individuals if Partnership / Limited Company. 
• Adhar Card of Proprietor or Individuals if Partnership/ Limited. 
• Ad Code Letter From Bank. 

IEC certificate: An Importer-Exporter Code (IEC) is mandatory for import to India or export from India. It is a significant business identification number for an import/export business.  

  For IEC Code Registration, the following documents are required: 

• Individual’s, firm’s or company’s copy of PAN Card. 
• Proprietor’s voter ID, Aadhaar card or passport copy. 
• Proof of establishment, incorporation or registration of the partnership, society, proprietorship firm, company, HUF, etc. 

Certificate of Origin: A Certificate of Origin (COO) is a document used in international trade to certify the country of origin of goods being exported. It is an important document for customs clearance in the importing country and can also be required by banks for trade finance purposes. 

GSP Scheme: The Generalized Scheme of Preferences (GSP) provides customs duty reduction for exports made by beneficiary. Developing countries like India to GSP granting developed countries like the. European Union (EU), UK and others.  

Fumigation: Fumigation is a pest control method that involves using gaseous pesticides to eliminate or prevent the presence of insects, rodents, and other harmful organisms in goods and shipping containers. 

Phytosanitary certificate: A Phytosanitary certificate is an official document issued by the plant protection organization of the exporting country. It certifies that the plants or plant products covered by the certificate are free from pests and diseases, comply with the phytosanitary regulations of the importing country. 

Duty Drawback: DBK (Duty Drawback) is a scheme that exists in the context of import and export to provide relief to exporters by refunding or providing a drawback on the duties paid on imported goods used in the manufacturing of exported products. 

RODTEP: RODTEP stands for Remission of Duties and Taxes on Exported Products. It is a scheme introduced by the Indian government to replace the Merchandise Exports from India Scheme (MEIS) and provide a more WTO-compliant and transparent system for promoting exports. 

PIMS certificate: Paper Import Monitoring System certificate is compulsory for imports of all notified paper products. 

DFIA: A Duty Free Import Authorization (DFIA) is issued to allow duty free import of inputs which are used in the manufacture of an export product, making normal allowance for wastage, and energy, fuel, catalyst etc. 

EPCG scheme: The EPCG Scheme offers duty-free imports of products if a requirement of export obligation equivalent to six times the duty savings amount on capital goods is met within six years. The EPCG license offers financial assistance to exporters by removing import charges. 

APEDA/ RCME certificate: APEDA registration or registration-cum-membership-certification (RCMC) is provided by the APEDA authorities to exporters of Scheduled food products under APEDA ACT. Without having an RCMC membership, no exporter can commence their business for enlisted food products as per the guidelines
